Join Jennifer for part one of a long-term series of short knitalongs based on the book Learn to Knit in 50 Squares by Anna Pantelous.  For this series we require that you have a copy of the book, whether purchased from us (we will offer a 10% discount on the book to those registered for the class) or elsewhere.  If you make all of the squares, you will end up with a lovely large blanket.  But the squares may also be joined together to make a scarf or a table runner, or used individually as coasters.

Square 16 introduces knitting in the round, using circular needles and/or double pointed needles.  Suitable for those who already know how to cast on, knit, bind off, purl, decrease by knitting two stitches together, and make a left-leaning decrease.

Note: for this square you will need two different colours of your yarn, as well as a set of five double-pointed needles in the same size you have been using for your other squares and four stitch markers.  If you would like to start the square using circular needles, please bring circular needles in your usual size that have a 40 cm cord.

Coffee and tea provided.  Knitting materials not included but may be purchased at a 10% discount for those registered for the class.

Maximum 9 people.

The course is currently scheduled to run on the upper floor of our studio, which can only be accessed by a staircase. Please contact us if that would present difficulties for you, so that we can make suitable arrangements.
