Join Jennifer for part one of a long-term series of short knitalongs based on the book Learn to Knit in 50 Squares by Anna Pantelous. For this series we require that you have a copy of the book, whether purchased from us (we will offer a 10% discount on the book to those registered for the class) or elsewhere. If you make all of the squares, you will end up with a lovely large blanket. But the squares may also be joined together to make a scarf or a table runner, or used individually as coasters.
With Square 13 we will learn how to make twisted-loop increases, a method that avoids a hole when using a yarn over increase. Suitable for those who already know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, read a knitting chart, decrease by knitting two stitches together, make a yarn over, make a left-leaning decrease, knit and purl stitches through the back loop and make double increases and decreases.
Coffee and tea provided. Knitting materials not included but may be purchased at a 10% discount for those registered for the class.
Maximum 9 people.
The course is currently scheduled to run on the upper floor of our studio, which can only be accessed by a staircase. Please contact us if that would present difficulties for you, so that we can make suitable arrangements.
