A spinners 4 in 1 tool, which can also be used for knitting and crochet.
1. A wrap per inch (WPI) section an easy space to measure the thickness of your spun thread and to keep checking as you are spinning.
2. A diz a series of 3 holes to draft your fiber from combs, carders or drum carders. The smallest hole is 3mm and will make a roving of a decent size for spinning. the other holes will make larger rovings for thicker spinning.
3. A twist angle, this will help with keeping your spinning constant. You lay the spun thread over the (0) and slowly move the yarn to the right keeping the yarn straight from top to bottom, till the angle line is the same as the twist in your yarn. When you have plied your yarn you move the yarn to the left, till it matches the angle line.
4. A yarn gauge, lay your yarn between the lines of the box till you can not see any space either side of the yarn. This is your yarn, the scale on the left will tell you the recommended yarn i.e. dk or aran etc.
The overall dimensions of the gauge are 68mm x 45mm.
