Blotz - Twist keeper

A tool which will help spinners to stop the twist going into the un-spun fibers, when having to leave the wheel.

Keeping hold of the spun fiber slide the twist keeper on to the spun yarn. Then wrap the spun yarn around the maiden of the wheel and do a half hitch knot. Now you can walk away without the twist running in to the un-spun fibers. When you come back to spinning, undo the half hitch (just slide this off the maiden), pinch the unspun fibers under the twist keeper, then unwrap from the maiden. Re-tension the spun yarn and start spinning.

Made from 4mm Birch ply which is FSC regulated, cut with a laser.
