Learn to Knit in 50 Squares: 03. The purly one (28 February 2026) - Saturday (2 PM - 4 PM)

Join Jennifer for part one of a long-term series of short knitalongs based on the book Learn to Knit in 50 Squares by Anna Pantelous.  For this series we require that you have a copy of the book, whether purchased from us (we will offer a 10% discount on the book to those registered for the class) or elsewhere.  If you make all of the squares, you will end up with a lovely large blanket.  But the squares may also be joined together to make a scarf or a table runner, or used individually as coasters.

Square 03 introduces the purl stitch and the creation of stocking, aka stockinette, stitch.  Suitable for those who already know how to cast on, knit and bind off.  Great practice for those who took the beginners knitting class in January.

Coffee and tea provided.  Knitting materials not included but may be purchased at a 10% discount for those registered for the class.

Maximum 10 people.

The course is currently scheduled to run on the upper floor of our studio, which can only be accessed by a staircase. Please contact us if that would present difficulties for you, so that we can make suitable arrangements.
