Learn to Knit in 50 Squares: 01. The slippy one (14 February 2026) - Saturday (2 PM - 4 PM)

Join Jennifer for part one of a long-term series of short knitalongs based on the book Learn to Knit in 50 Squares by Anna Pantelous.  For this series we require that you have a copy of the book, whether purchased from us (we will offer a 10% discount on the book to those registered for the class) or elsewhere.  If you make all of the squares, you will end up with a lovely large blanket.  But the squares may also be joined together to make a scarf or a table runner, or used individually as coasters.

Square 01 involves knitting a garter stitch square while slipping the first stitch of each row purlwise to create a neat edge.  Suitable for those who already know how to cast on, knit and bind off.  Great practice for those who took the basic knitting class in January.

Coffee and tea provided.  Knitting materials not included but may be purchased at a 10% discount for those registered for the class.

Maximum 10 people.

The course is currently scheduled to run on the upper floor of our studio, which can only be accessed by a staircase. Please contact us if that would present difficulties for you, so that we can make suitable arrangements.
