4-Hour Tunisian Crochet class (November 7)

Learn the versatile and textured technique of Tunisian crochet with Alyson in this four hour class (10:00-14:00) that will give you a thorough grounding in the basics and leave you ready to tackle a variety of patterns.  Topics covered will include:

• a description of different yarns, hooks and abbreviations commonly used in the technique
  
• how to start: chains, foundation rows, edge stitches, forward and return passes

• four different stitches yielding fabrics with different textures

• changing colours and colourwork
  
• increasing and decreasing
  
• At the end of the class you will create your own freestyle stitch pattern in the colours of your choice.

Course fee includes tuition, yarn, use of equipment, an instruction sheet to take home and refreshments.

A minimum of three and a maximum of six participants (if fewer than three register, fees will be refunded).

This class takes place on the upper level of our studio accessed by a flight of stairs. Please advise if this would be a problem for you.
